Himawari

Himawari, look at you grow
Your petals so bright, they seem to glow
Look up in the sky, you will see why
Way up high, where the birds fly
That bright gleam, the shining sun
Another beautiful day, has just begun
As the day passes, an enemy arrives
A dark cloud, with heavy tears to cry
Himawari, hold on, don't give in
Weather the bold, fierce cold wind
This storm will pass, the sun will come back
The rays of light, get you back on track
Refreshing rain, watch as it falls
Himawari, you're growing so tall
How many storms, will you continue to face?
Will you keep growing, at this steady pace?
What if you break, what will happen then?
Will someone come along, and put you back together again?
Will you grow, even after that?
What audience, would you attract?
Surrounded by giants, beautiful and true
You only dream, that's not you
As much as you wish, to be a himawari
In reality, you're only a daisy
Don't fret, little hinagiku
You may be small, but we still love you
